Close to city centre, safe, clean and comfortable. Staff were nice.
Rooms are a little tired, not as nice as on the internet , but more than adequate for our purpose

My room was lovely in every way and really was a comfortable space to come back to after a long day of sight- seeing. Cola Vatican Rooms were amazing. I was a first time traveller and the staff were so friendly and made me feel really safe. Its also a short walk to the city centre and is surrounded by shops and cafes. The rioms were really clean and there is a great atmosphere. I would definetly stay here again.

There was no phone in the room, and none available anywhere in this rooming house. Fourth floor, ancient tiny elevator, only one set of 4 huge keys so that if one person (we are a couple, but sometimes one of us likes to go out at a different time than the other) goes out, the other is locked in. The manager owner did not offer to let us use her phone to call a taxi. Instead she said she would arrange one ( for more money than the fare). There is a kitchen, no microwave, and no cooking utensils like pots or pans. A continental breakfast is arranged two blocks away but walking two blocks for 1 coffee & 1 croissant is not really pleasant. Refrigerator in kitchen but not in room. Other guests ate our food. Tv but no channels in any language but Italian. Bathroom tiny, shower smaller and toilet paper, soap, plastic cup were not replaced, altho one roll of T.P. was left in the kitchen-first come, first served. Manager available by phone but if you didn't have a phone, she may or may not have been upstairs somewhere. The manager emailed to ask what time we would arrive, but if we did not have email who knows if we could have gotten in or when. The place was a 15 euro taxi ride from the central train station and taxis offer a standard 48 euro ride to the airport. This place had all the charm of the inside of a refrigerator at very high prices for what they provided. There were no pictures on the walls, and the wi-fi coverage was worse than poor. One day they did not clean our room-no clean towels or sheets, no cleaning of the floor or emptying of the wastebaskets. That, to me, is unforgivable. Lastly, street noise was rather bad, despite good insulating windows & a fourth floor location. Loud motorbikes, ambulances, & trucks woke us often. Really a bad place to stay.

Nice location behind St Peters church and on a really good shopping street.
The staff was a not on the hotel which made some problems for and we had to change our plans because of them, we wanted to check out a bit earlier than we first told the staff but since they didn't have a schedule to when to be there we had to postpone our check-out which the staff didn't like at all. She did wait for us when we were a little late to check-in which was nice of her.
